At A Little Kingdom, we believe that a good, modern school must have a school library on its premises, as it is a key element in our educational mission. For this reason, this institution is one of the school services we offer our students.

In our new approach and teaching process, teachers have expanded the means of knowledge acquisition beyond simply reading textbooks and rote learning. We have moved to using new resources to capture students’ attention: collections of books, images, maps, audio recordings, etc. – a goldmine for every teacher and every student.

While the primary activity typically associated with the library remains reading, studies have shown that reading helps students assimilate far more important skills: it contributes to their intellectual, psychological, and social development; it awakens their curiosity about the world around them; and it helps them become familiar with social issues and values ​​through fictional and non-fiction works.

The Little Kingdom Library has an extensive collection of books. All our students will have access to the school library every two weeks. Students, under the supervision of their teachers, can borrow a book of their choice and return it within two weeks.

To encourage students to understand and engage with what they read, we offer a wide selection of materials and books on various subjects, including reference works from all disciplines and at different levels of difficulty:

– Stories, fables, and poems
– Fiction books and works of art
– Picture books, comics, and manga
– Encyclopedias and dictionaries
– Magazines and newspapers
– DVDs of all genres
– Language learning materials: Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and German.

Note: In addition to the choice of materials, our students can also choose their language: Arabic, English, and French.
